Books
Drop Everything And Read! Then Drop a Book for Someone in Need.

National Drop Everything And Read (D.E.A.R.) Day was developed to help ensure families make reading an everyday part of their lives. This isn’t possible without access to books!

Many Gulf Coast public school libraries that were destroyed by hurricanes and flooding are still in desperate need. In partnership with the NEA Foundation, First Book, and The Heart of America Foundation, NEA’s Books Across America initiative continues to work to restock public school libraries and put books back into the hands of children.

After your family shares books together, please help bring some comfort to the families of the Gulf Coast through the joys of reading.
